Pet owners encounter problems cleaning that non pet owners never have to deal with.  Increased amount of hair on floors and furniture along with odors and increased traffic in general can present a challenge.  Certain vacuum brands make vacuums specifically designed to help pet owners clean up after their furry friends.  However, don’t just buy a vacuum because it is labeled a pet model.  Manufacturers know the marketing power associated with labeling a vacuum a “pet model”.  Most vacuums labeled a “pet vacuum” are not engineered any different for pet homes.  The difference lies in the types of tools and type of filtering system. You may find that same model with the same features in a non “pet model” and it usually is less expensive. Vacuums with easy to remove brush rolls with two rows of bristles are recommended.
